Synopsis

Never again would I allow my heart to become the plaything of someone else.
Never again would I let a man (or men) come between me and my goals.
Never again would I love without feeling the fullness of that love in return.
Not until I knew it was real. And if that took me a lifetime to find, so be it.

Those were my vows, and after all that had happened with Connor and Weston, I was determined to keep them. To protect my heart.
And then he came home, and my vows became his promises.

He held my heart in his hands with reverence and care.
He helped me find my soul’s greatest purpose in life.
He loved me with a love so pure and vibrant, I knew I’d never feel anything like it in a hundred lifetimes.
It was real.

Until it wasn’t.
Until it all came crashing down when I discovered the deep love I thought I’d found was nestled in a web of lies—so soft and silken I hadn’t noticed it was there.
Until it was too late.

The Wrong Game by Kandi Steiner
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Sports
Release Date: October 18, 2018
Buy Now: Amazon

Synopsis

Two season tickets.
One geniusidea.
Zero interest in a relationship.

The plan is simple: a brand new, hot, preferably funny, definitely single male will fill one of those seats for every Bears game at Soldier Field. And I’ll fill the other.

I can’t think of a better way to use the season passes I’d bought for my ex-husband. I am a woman of plans, and this one’s foolproof.

Until Zach Bowen offers to be my practice round.

He’s infuriating. Presumptuous and overbearing. And absolutely, undeniably gorgeous. Any woman with a heartbeat would be attracted to him, and mine picks up speed every time he speaks.

But as I said, I’m a woman of plans — and I’m not backing down on this one.

One night. One game. And then, his time’s up.

He can try to change the rules, but here’s the truth: he can’t win if he’s playing the wrong game.

Review

The Wrong Game has got to be one of Kandi Steiner’s best books to date and that is saying a lot because every single one of her books have been INCREDIBLE! This was a sexy, sweet and hilariously intriguing story that had be captivated from beginning to end. The prologue drew me right in, but it was the storyline that kept me engaged and had me wanted more as I found myself devouring chapter after chapter. There was so much to adore about this story, but I have got to say that the characters were who really won me over. I freaking loved everything about Gemma and Zach, who were absolutely made for each other. Zach was the perfect match for Gemma because he was able to pull her out of her comfort zone and get her to try new things, even when they scared her, which happened more times than not. Their chemistry was off the charts HOT and their romance sizzled right off the pages. My heart felt the BURN for sure!

Kandi Steiner’s writing is phenomenal and it amazes me the amount of creativity she puts into every one of her beautifully captivating stories. This story made my heart soar and I was swooning from the moment Gemma and Zach first laid eyes on each other. Readers you are going to want to one-click this beyond AMAZING story right NOW! Trust me! You will not regret a single second.

About Kandi Steiner

Kandi Steiner is a Creative Writing and Advertising/Public Relations graduate from the University of Central Florida living in Tampa. Kandi works full time as a social media specialist, but also works part time as a Zumba fitness instructor and blackjack dealer.

Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).

When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.

Synopsis

He’s a player.

He plays the bass with expert fingers. He plays women with intoxicating charm. And he’ll play me with the ease of a virtuoso.

Who better to teach me to play than the master himself?

I’m his model student, front row, pencil sharp. Pick up lines? I’ve got them. Free drinks? By the dozen. Kissing? Let me grab my chapstick.

But the most valuable lesson I’ve learned is that there’s so much I don’t know. Like why his touch sets off a chain reaction straight to my nethers. Or how I’m certain each kiss is the best I’ll ever have, until the moment his lips take mine again.

There’s so much I don’t know.

Like the fact that I’m only a bet.

But we are what we are. He’s a player, through and through.

And I’m the fool who fell in love with him.

Review

This story is just another reason why I freaking love this author. She always gives her readers a classic tale with that Staci Hart one of a kind twist! She seriously writes some of the best books EVER and I have yet to be disappointed by one.

Player is a sexy, fun and all around swoon-worthy romantic comedy that ROMCOM fans will LOVE. Not only was the character development on point (as always), but the storytelling captivated me right from the beginning and oh my goodness I did not want to put this one down, not even for a second. Oh and the humorous tone in this story was such a nice touch. Sam and Val’s personalities had be intrigued and their chemistry was H-O-T! I absolutely adored how their relationship played out and how it progressed throughout. There was just so much to love!

Readers make sure to one-click your copy of Player by Staci Hart today and discover the greatness behind the new standalone in the Red Lipstick Coalition series!

About Staci Hart

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey.

From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

Someone has been waiting for this perfect moment to strike.
Watching me.
Studying me.
Waiting for me to be too consumed with hurt to notice he was there.
Someone who knows me.

I’m Einstein . . . like the genius, only smarter and with better hair.
There’s nothing I can’t hack into, crack open, or figure out. Well, almost nothing.

And if I can’t beat his sinister game, it won’t just be my heart that stops beating.

Review

Oh my freaking goodness! Molly McAdams is the QUEEN of romantic suspense and I can’t even begin to express to you all how excited I was to FINALLY get my hands on Einstein’s book because it feels like I have been waiting FOREVER for it! Although Dare and Lily (from Firefly) are still my favorite couple, I think that Einstein and Maverick might be a close second. Their story was absolutely INCREDIBLE and I was BLOWN AWAY by the author’s beautifully captivating writing style. This author just never seizes to amaze me when it comes to her one of a kind writing and don’t even get me started on her character development.

Lock takes readers on an emotional journey into the past through flashbacks and keeps readers on the edge of their seats from beginning to end. If readers weren’t in love with Einstein before, then they are about to fall head over heels in love with her. Oh and have I mentioned that I found myself breathless too many times to count. There is just something about these characters that take my breath away every time and makes it almost impossible to put a story down, which is exactly what happened when I dove in. I soon discovered that this is the kind of story that needs to be devoured in one sitting. Trust me…you are going to adore Einstein and Maverick’s story!

Synopsis

Willow Taylor lives in a castle with large walls and iron fences. But this is no ordinary castle. It’s called Heartstone Psychiatric Hospital and it houses forty other patients. It has nurses with mean faces and techs with permanent frowns.

It has a man, as well. A man who is cold and distant. Whose voice drips with authority. And whose piercing gray eyes hide secrets, and maybelinger on her face a second too long.

Willow isn’t supposed to look deep into those eyes. She isn’t supposed to try to read his tightly leashed emotions. And neither is she supposed to touch herself at night, imagining his powerful voice and that cold but beautiful face.

No, Willow Taylor shouldn’t be attracted to Simon Blackwood, at all.

Because she’s a patient and he’s her doctor. Her psychiatrist.

The medicine man.

WARNING: This book discusses sensitive issues including but not limited to, depression and suicide.

Review

Medicine Man by Saffron A. Kent is every forbidden romance readers dream. It’s the kind of story that screams forbidden, but it is done in such a tasteful manner that you forget all about that aspect. Sure this story might not be for every reader out there, but if this author keeps writing books as amazing as this one, I have no doubt in my mind that I will continue to devour her stories for years to come.

The author’s characters are always out of this world and unlike any set of characters that I have or will ever read about. Simon Blackwood and Willow Taylor own me whole body, heart and soul; I shall forever be captivated by their raw and complex love story. These two should have never been together, but fate always has a say in matters such as these. Their love is destined and written in the stars…I can just feel it deep in my soul. Simon and Willow have been branded into my heart and I will never be able to let these two truly go.

This is the kind of book that will swallow you whole and leave you wallowing in the intense emotions that this story will bring out of you. This is hands down Saffron A. Kent’s BEST book to date and even a week after reading it my heart is still under lock and key. Although I have managed to get through a few books since, nothing right now can even begin to compare to how I felt while reading this story. I have to say that this author ALWAYS seems to have that effect on me. Her writing is just so beautifully captivating that readers often struggle to move on right away.

Readers please trust me when I say that you need to go and one-click this story right now. Saffron A. Kent’s words will transport you into a world unlike anything you will ever experience. I am hoping and praying that we see more of the Heartstone Psychiatric Hospital in the near future because there are so many more characters that need their own stories! FINGERS CROSSED!

Karina knows the harsh realities of military life. And like anyone who has grown up around an army base, she knows the background noise that follows a soldier home from war. That’s why she’s forging her own quiet life in her own little house. But she hasn’t turned her back on her family. She’s the glue that holds them together-when her father is deployed, when her brother, Austin, has another brush with the law.

At just twenty, Kael is a handsome, brooding soldier struggling with the aftermath of two tours in Afghanistan. He’s emotionally damaged and closed off. Quiet doesn’t begin to describe him. She lets down her guard. And she lets herself fill in the blanks about this mysterious man.

But illusions quickly made are quickly shattered. That’s when Karina has to find her own courage-to untangle the truth from the lies, and decide what she’s going to do about it.

Review

The Brightest Stars happens to be the first Anna Todd book that I have been fortunate enough to read and I can’t even begin to express how freaking excited I was to dive right in. What I didn’t know going in was that this story was actually part of a series, so please be aware that it does end with a cliffhanger. Although I did enjoy the storyline and characters, I didn’t necessarily fall head over heels in love with it. However, I will defiantly be reading the second book because I need to know what happens next. Anna Todd is certainly a brilliant writer and I already have plans to check out some of her earlier work for sure.

Grace Miller.

The girl who was always out of my reach. The girl who still makes me lose my breath with just a look.

Little did I know she would become my temptation and vice, and quite possibly, my ruin.

Now I’m standing at a crossroads, and my head is a battlefield. How do I choose sides when it means losing a part of who I am?

Review

It seems like Autumn Grey has been teasing her readers with thoughts of these books FOREVER, but this girl right here FINALLY got her hands on the first book in the highly anticipated Grace trilogy and it was ABSOLUTELY incredible! I knew right away that this story was going to captivate my attention, but what I didn’t know was that Sol and Grace were going to take my breath away after every moment they shared together and every moment that tore them further apart. There were so many times throughout that I felt breathless and wasn’t sure if I could go on without my heart breaking piece by piece. Their love was forbidden, and yet beautifully raw at the same time. Their hearts and souls belonged together, but life decisions just kept getting in their way.

Desolate by Autumn Grey is one of the best forbidden romances that I have ever read before and it also happens to only be the first of THREE books. HOLY FREAKING MOLY that means there are still two more books that are going to pulverize my heart into nothingness because Sol and Grace are just that type of couple. I can’t even begin to imagine what is going to happen in the next two books, but I have no doubt in my mind that I am going to fall even more in LOVE with these two beautiful souls. PLEASE…oh please tell me that the release of isn’t too far away because I don’t know how I am going to wait. I really don’t know how I am going to wait, I just don’t know.

If you are a fan of forbidden romance then you NEED, no you MUST go and one-click this amazingly written story. I mean it…GO DO IT RIGHT THIS MOMENT. Trust me when I say you will not regret it!
