Two years.
Who kisses someone and then doesn’t say anything for two years?
Greg Moran, that’s who.

That kiss might not have started it all, but it sure did change everything. I thought I was living a simple life, keeping to my friends, eating pickles with ice cream, drinking bourbon on the weekends, and taking naps after work. Looking back at it all now, it was anything but simple.

What happens in Vegas was supposed to stay there. But clearly, this time it wasn’t.
I married Greg Moran.
My best friend. My boss.
The man who I had loved for five years.

Two years of silence broke me though. It caused me to do something no sane woman in love would do.

I asked for a divorce.

OMG! Be still my heart…Book 2 in The Ink Well Chronicles is here and let me just say that I freaking loved every minute of this story!

The second I finished Let Me In I was fortunate enough to be able to immediately dive right into No Way in Hell. For once it seems like my busy schedule worked in my favor because I was able to read both of the books in The Ink Well Chronicles back to back. I really liked Alexa and Max’s story, but I must say that I FLOVED Lilly and Greg’s even more! Gosh their story just hooked me right in and kept me engaged until the very end. I devoured this story and now I kind of miss these two, but I am sure we will get plenty of them in the next book (one can hope right). Jordan Bates has an incredible way with words and her characters speak to me (not literally because that would be weird 😛), they are truly one of a kind.

Make sure to pick up your copy of No Way in Hell today…

Some touched.
Some watched.
Some just talked to me.
They all had their vices.

I’m trailer trash in the slums of Carillon.

Until I met him, the mysterious neighbor who speaks through handwritten notes. He never shows his face, only comes and goes late at night, and I’m drawn to him like a moth to a flame.

I shouldn’t want him.

I don’t need him.

But when I close my eyes, he’s all I see.

He’s my addiction. The secret I keep close to my heart.

But sometimes things aren’t what they seem, and secrets don’t stay secrets forever.

And together, we’re just two lost souls on the wrong side of heaven.

I honestly don’t know if my heart can handle the books that I’ve been reading lately. As of now I’m pretty sure that my heart has found its forever home in the pit of my stomach especially if I keep torturing myself, a sweet torture nonetheless, with these kind of stories that capture you whole body and soul. You know the stories that not only give you all the feels, but somehow manages to keep a tight grip on your heart for long after you turn the last page.

If I had to describe this book in one word I think it would have to be SPEECHLESS. I am seriously at a loss for words right this moment because no matter what I say it will never convey the abundance of emotions that I experienced while devouring this extraordinarily captivating read. Gia Riley you have forever ruined me girl…RUINED ME! I don’t know how I am going to wait for the conclusion, especially after that ending. That ending was pure perfection and the very definition of torture. Can we please just fast-forward to April because I don’t think this intense feeling in my chest is going to disappear anytime soon.

Review – Wait With Me by Amy Daws

Wait With Me by Amy Daws
Genres: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: April 5, 2018
Buy Now: Amazon

When romance novelist, Kate Smith suddenly gets writers block as she’s beginning the final installment of her international bestselling erotic Bed N Breakfast series, she’ll do pretty much anything to get her groove back.

Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room, because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee—smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot.

She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees only entrance.

But she’s way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

Doing a test-drive of her new book idea sounds like a much better option.

It’s hard to believe that this story originally started when Amy Daws brought her car into a tire shop and ended up writing a ton of words. She quickly became inspired and sought every opportunity to keep her streak alive, even if she had to beg to borrow her family and friends cars. I followed this story for months in her reader group and was so freaking excited when she announced that a book inspired by her experiences was in the works. Let me just say that the author did not disappoint with this hilariously funny romantic comedy that is sure to make its mark on the book community. She is certainly a queen of ROMCOM and I can’t wait see what comes next in her writing career!

Wait With Me follows the story of a romance writer by the name of Kate Smith (she writes under a pen name, but I don’t want to spoil that little surprise for readers) who finds herself in a rut while writing the final book in her erotica series. She certainly did not expect to find inspiration in a Tire Depot’s Customer Care Center where she meets Miles Hudson, a sexy mechanic that she quickly forms an attraction for. When their romance begins to blossom the “friends with benefits” status seems just right for the two of them. Be prepare for a world of angst because trust me…it’s coming! Readers hold on tight and get ready to DEVOUR this incredibly hilarious and captivating story!

Review – Renner’s Rules by K. Webster

Renner's Rules Front Only.jpg

Renner’s Rules by K. Webster
Genre: Taboo Treat
Release Date: March 8, 2018
Buy Now: Amazon

I’m a bad girl.
I was sent away.
New house. New rules. New school.
Change was supposed to be…good.

Until I met him.

No one warned me Principal Renner would be so hot.
I’d expected some old, graying man in a brown suit.
Not this.
Not well over six feet of lean muscle and piercing green eyes.
Not a rugged-faced, ax-wielding lumberjack of a man.

He’s grouchy and rude and likes to boss me around.
I find myself getting in trouble just so he’ll punish me.
Especially with his favorite metal ruler.

Being bad never felt so good.

K. Webster is definitely an author that is best known for her out of the box taboo romances that will offend readers that aren’t willing to step outside their comfort zone. In my opinion, I have nothing against books like this because it’s FICTION, the characters are ALWAYS over the age of 18 and it’s something that came directly from the author’s imagination. Books like this do NOT encourage this kind of behavior, but is just written for pure enjoyment for the readers.

Renner’s Rules was a quick and sexy read that I devoured in about an hour. The author labels these books as #TabooTreats and they can be read as standalone. Principal Renner and 18-year-old Elma got down and dirty in this hot and heavy forbidden romance. Another amazing story from K. Webster and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

About K. Webster

K Webster is the author of dozens romance books in many different genres including contemporary romance, historical romance, paranormal romance, and erotic romance. When not spending time with her husband of twelve years and two adorable children, she’s active on social media connecting with her readers.

Review – What He Doesn’t Know (What He Doesn’t Know Duet #1) by Kandi Steiner

What He Doesn’t Know by Kandi Steiner
Series: What He Doesn’t Know Duet #1
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 15, 2018

On the northeast side of town, there is a house.

The house was once magical, filled with love and joy and plans for the future.

Inside its walls are many things that belong to me — my books, the china from my mother on my wedding day, the beautiful cage once home to two birds, now empty, just like me.

And a man.

A man who also belongs to me.

A man I no longer wish to keep.

A man who, no doubt, has not slept, though the sun is rising. Because the house where he waits is where I laid my head to rest every night for eight years. Until last night.

No one who knows me would believe Charlie Pierce, the quiet, bookish girl who never made waves is pulling out of the driveway of a man who isn’t her husband.

But they don’t know me at all.

I don’t even know me.

Not anymore.

They say there are two sides to every story, and I suppose in most cases, that’s true. But the one I live inside of? It has three.

On the northeast side of town, there is a house.

But there is no longer a home.

Kandi Steiner what in the hell have you done to me lady? I never knew that it was possible to experience so many freaking emotions all at once. My heart is literally in the pit of my stomach right now because of this incredibly beautiful and emotionally raw story! I knew going into this one that my entire world was about to be turned upside down. I knew it and yet I was still taken by surprise. This is the kind of story that will consume you whole body and soul and grip you so tight that you’ll be left breathless. I am literally at a loss for words right this very moment and I know that whatever I say could never do this story justice, but I hope I can at least convince you all that this story needs to be embraced by every angst book lover out there. Trust me you all will not be disappointed!

What He Doesn’t Know is the first book in Kandi Steiner’s highly anticipated duet. Reader be aware that you will never be the same after reading this extraordinary real story. I seriously cannot wait for the conclusion to this duet and all I can say is that I need What He Always Knew right now. I have no freaking clue how I am going to make it through the next few weeks, but at least it’s weeks and not months. I can do it. I can do it. I totally can’t wait!

About Kandi Steiner

Kandi Steiner is a Creative Writing and Advertising/Public Relations graduate from the University of Central Florida living in Tampa. Kandi works full time as a social media specialist, but also works part time as a Zumba fitness instructor and blackjack dealer.

Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).

When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.

Review – OUTCAST (A Good Guy Novel #4) by Jamie Schlosser

OUTCAST by Jamie Schlosser
Series: A Good Guy Novel #4
Genres: New Adult, Romance
Release Date: March 15, 2018
Buy Now: Amazon

My infatuation with Ezra Johnson started how all obsessions begin—with a simple crush. Over the years I silently soaked up every shy smile and random act of kindness, wrestling them away to a secret place in my heart meant for unrequited love.

Because if it wasn’t for the fact that I tutor him once a week, I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t even know I exist.

Then I find his sketchbook.

And it changes everything.

There are two certainties in my life: I’ve been in love with Kayla Reynolds since I was fourteen, and I can’t have her.

I’ve spent years settling for a two-dimensional fantasy world, capturing her beauty with a pencil and paper. She’s kind, smart, gorgeous…

And she belongs to someone else.

Or so I thought.

An interesting turn of events makes me realize things aren’t always how they appear on the outside, and now I’ve got my chance to be the man she deserves.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been called a loser. The cripple. An outcast.

But maybe—just maybe—this time the good guy won’t finish last.

OMG! Can someone please direct me to the button I have to press in order to rate this book more than 5 stars, because I definitely need one. It’s so freaking hard to believe that this was my very first Jamie Schlosser read and I am kicking myself for not picking up one of her stories sooner. Seriously her writing style is incredibly addicting and I devoured this extraordinarily captivating story that captured my heart right from the first page!

OUTCAST is the kind of story that shows that good guys don’t always finish last and when you find your soulmate nothing will get in the way of your happiness even if you’ve got to wait years for it to finally happen. Ezra and Kayla are the perfect couple and I couldn’t get enough of these two. Life can be cruel and it’s sad that it took them until the end of high school to discover how into each other they really were, but as they say “all good things come to those who wait.” Their chemistry was off the charts and I loved every moment of this AMAZING story.

I can tell you with confidence that I WILL be going back to check out the GOOD GUYS standalone series as soon as I possibly can because I have no doubt they are going to be as awesome as this one was! Jamie Schlosser be prepared for your brand new STALKER…oops…I mean #1 FAN!
