Bibliophile Fridays

Bibliophile Fridays is a weekly meme hosted by me (Whoo Gives A Hoot) and Foxes and Fairy Tales on our blogs and for more information you can check out our Goodreads group. We have created this weekly meme in honor of the bibliophile population (we are a dying breed you know)! We are super excited to share this with our readers and we hope you will all join us in our fight to raise awareness for the bibliophile population…

Louise or I will try to post the list of weekly themes at least two months in advance since we both know how hectic blogging can be! So how does this work? Following the weekly theme you’ll create a blog post listing your top FIVE books (one’s you’ve already read to haven’t – it’s completely up to you) that meets the weekly criteria. Then, you’ll pick ONE (or ALL if you feel up to it) to feature. For your featured book(s) you may include some of the following (however you really haver complete freedom to make your posts as original as you want them to be as long as you’re following the theme): the cover (original or your favorite edition), an outline of what the book is about (synopsis), buy links, teaser/excerpt, playlist, dream cast, etc., and a brief summary explaining why you have chosen to feature that particular book!

Once you’ve gotten your posts up on your blog (or Facebook/Goodreads page) make sure to share your link in the Bibliophile Fridays Goodreads discussion thread labeled LINKS so that Louise and I can check out your posts! If you’d like to tweet you posts with the #BFridayPosts and tag both @whoogiveahoot & @foxesfairytale, we will kindly retweet them for you! With your help we will be able to spread the word!

If you have any suggestions for future weekly themes please feel free to leave them in the comment section below or head on over to our Goodreads page and leave one under the thread labeled SUGGESTIONS (we will fully credit any ideas we use)! Happy READING! 🙂
