Synopsis

X and I were probably doomed from the start.

That’s what happens when you meet in court-mandated group therapy and then try to steal from him to pay off your blackmailing drug dealer. Former drug dealer, thank you very much. I’m turning over a new leaf and all that.

Which is why I should leave him alone.

Except he tempts me to do things I swore I’d stop doing. It’s that whole gruff, grumbly, anti-social thing he has going on. Him, flame. Me, moth. Something about him calls to me, makes the blood hum in my body. And I don’t want that feeling to end.

Lucy Connors is straight-up insane.

She looks like a Disney princess and tries my patience in more ways than I thought possible. Besides the fact that I have to save her cute little ass from jail, I can’t quite figure out how to leave her alone. Even when she’s trying her hand at Breaking and Entering. Especially when it’s myhouse she’s burglarizing.

Yeah, we were probably doomed from the start.

But that’s the thing about being hooked on something so good, and so bad for you—you don’t walk away when you should.

Review

For me, this one starting out slowly and it took me awhile to, well, get hooked. But once I did. I was all in. Xavier and Lucy are complete opposites and quite the pair. It’s certainly a story that you don’t see coming.

Trust me. Stick with it til the end. It’s worth one clicking!

MELISSA

You know what they say…opposites attract…which is exactly what happens with our hero and heroine in this action packed, hilariously funny romance. Right from the very beginning I was hooked into this story and I couldn’t put it down until the very end. Xavier and Lucy are nothing alike and come from completely different backgrounds and yet I couldn’t think of a more perfect couple. Their relationship starts off unexpectedly and has many twists and turns throughout. Every single laughable moment had me on the edge of my seat waiting to figure out what would happen next.

This dynamic duo sure have a way with words and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

About Karla Sorensen

Well, let’s see … I’m a wife and a mother. I’m a writer who wants to make people smile when they read my words. I own a dog that sheds roughly eighteen pounds of hair every day. I am obsessed with Outlander (both the books and the show). I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob. If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen. I received my Bachelors in Public Relations and worked in health care marketing before I had my babies. I hate Twitter. I do it, but I hate it. Also, if you want to get on my good side, bring me wine and I’ll love you forever.

About Whitney Barbetti

I am a wife to one and a mom to two humans and one cat. I have a deep and abiding love for nachos – especially the kind with the liquid cheese, like from Taco Bell (sorry). I run on less than four hours of sleep thanks to copious amounts of Diet Coke. (Note: this paragraph is not sponsored by anyone except my hungry stomach.)

As a Navy brat, I grew up all over the country, from California and up the east coast from Florida to New England and Colorado. I currently live in Idaho, where we have lots of potatoes and windmills.

I write character-driven contemporary romance novels, heavy on the emotional connection. I LOVE love. I love writing about broken characters who find their soul mates.

Dear Delilah by T. Bester

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: August 17, 2017

Synopsis

It has been said that boys and girls can never be ‘just’ friends, and until Nathan Penn barged into my life, I thought it was complete and utter nonsense. But one night changed everything, and what I thought was the defining moment in our friendship turned out to be more than either of us were ready for.

When my boss tasks me with writing the University’s new sex advice column, Dear Delilah, I make it quite clear that I’m the least qualified person for the job – my experience is limited to one sexual encounter that taught me about love and loss all at once.

So what makes me say ‘yes’?

Simple.

A distraction.

Something to take my mind off Nathan.

But once I start, I find myself wanting to be the voice of the girl who’s too afraid to ask for advice, the girl who wants to own her sexuality but doesn’t know how. Sounds easy enough.

Except it isn’t.

It’s complicated, and messy and awkward, and when Nathan offers to help, I’m caught between a rock and his hard place. Literally.

It’s only when my identity is threatened that I realize I might be in over my head. With all of it.

Review

Ahh! Where in the heck do I even begin? I absolutely loved this story right from the beginning and couldn’t put it down until I reached the very end. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a college romance so I was super excited when I came across the opportunity to read this story before the release day! The second it downloaded on my kindle I wanted to start reading it… Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to start until the next day, but you know what it was worth the wait because I was able to read it in one sitting instead of having to spread it out.

There is so much that I want to say about this book but it seems at the moment I am completely drawing a blank, so I will just say that you need to give this book a chance and dive into this hilariously funny romance!

Review

Oh my freaking goodness I cannot believe that it’s been less than a month since I finished Savage, the first book in The Kingwood Duet! This duet is hands down one of the my most binge-worthy reads of 2017 and I literally couldn’t put it down. Alexander Kingwood and Sara Jane Grayson are one of those couples that will take hold of your heart and never let you go. These two have managed to take over all my thoughts and have captured me whole body and soul. This is already my fourth S.L. Scott book (all in this year) and every time I read one of her books I am taken on a journey…and what an exciting and fascinating journey it is.

If you are looking for a story that will take you on one of the best rides of the year then I cannot recommend this phenomenal duet enough. Since I have only discovered this beautifully talented author this year I have no clue if she has ever written a story quite like this before, but this story seems completely unique and it left me on the edge of my seat from start to finish!
